ASEM Certification
Overview
Our MS in Engineering Management program at the University of Arkansas has been awarded the status of Certified Graduate Program by the American Society of Engineering Management (ASEM). This recognition confirms that our curriculum provides a cutting-edge education of what engineering managers should know, and positions us in an elite group of only 10 other programs in the country.
ASEM’s rigorous standards for graduate program certification are built on the Engineering Management Body of Knowledge and this distinction represents program standards and exceptional achievement in faculty, curriculum, admission, and administrative support.

In addition to the high quality curriculum they will study, graduates will now have a direct path to professional certification as a Certified Associate in Engineering Management® (CAEM®) or a Certified Professional in Engineering Management (CPEM®)
Depending on professional experience, ASEM certified program graduates are eligible for immediate recognition as Certified Associate in Engineering Management® (CAEM®) or a Certified Professional in Engineering Management CPEM®.
